So I bought a DSLR camera just for taking shots of my Nudies. It’s the Canon 500D, or Rebel Ti1 for yanks. I heard it was good for newbies.
One week has gone, the jeans have definitely softened up a bit, not to speak of loosened up. The waist sat really tight when new. But now, I’ll soon need a belt. Considering a hotsoak to shrink the waist, but will have to research a bit before that.
Nice creases have formed, the contours of the future fadings can now be seen.
I just found the iPhone wordpress app and am currently using it to write this. This could mean updates from on-the-go!

I lost my selvage virginity and slept with my jeans, and today, wore them for an entire long day. Some shapes are starting to form. More importantly, they are begining to grow soft and comfy.
Hello guys, today marks new beginnings. It is on this day that Project Selvage starts. Project by name, but it’s more like an experiment.
I’ve just purchased a pair of Nudie Straight Sven jeans. At the moment, they are brand-spankin’-new and crispy. My hopes are to wear them for the next half year (without ever wearing other pants) and that my jeans, through experiencing life’s moments of ups and downs together with me, will fade to a beautiful character unique to me.
I’ve marked the date on my calendar, May 6 — the day I’ll wash them for the first time.
